If you haven’t heard, the Hollandia and Live Gourmet family of products also includes Grower Pete’s, a source for still living and organic butter lettuce and watercress. These veggies have the same, still living freshness you’re used to from Live Gourmet, plus are USDA Certified Organic! With that in mind, it’s no wonder that Grower Pete’s is one of six semifinalists for the “Best New Vegetable Products” Award at the United Fresh 2013 trade expo.

    1. Thank you for inquiring. Our root ball that is attached to our products has matured and absorbed all of the water and nutrients it needed by the time we harvested it. If you now replant it, it likely will not grow into a healthy, mature plant that it once was.

    1. Thank you for inquiring about where to find our products in your area. We are available through these fine retailers:
Vons/ Safeway – (sold as Safeway Farms)
Sprouts (sold as Organic Living Butter Lettuce)
      Stater Brothers
      Smart & Final
      Ralphs (sold as Private Select)
      Whole Foods

    1. Hello Carline,

Thank you for visiting our blog. We are constantly adding new content so check-in throughout the week to catch the new additions.

  2. Wanted to say I love your product. I use it in place of bread for burgers and tacos. It holds up well with all the filling. Have you considered adding endive to your product line?

    1. Hi Claudia! Thank you so much for your patronage. Yes, we have been discussing new items, including endive, to launch in 2017. Do you have any other favorites you would like to see as living lettuces or greens?
