We spend a lot of time bringing you healthy and delicious meals which can be eaten every day guilt free. Today however, we’re going to take a break from all that and focus on a recipe that is just plain delicious. While it’s not quite as healthy as what we usually serve up, this makes a great healthy alternative to whatever else you had planned for dessert. So next time you’re tempted by something sweet consider trading it for the 3-in-1 Lettuce Banana Delight.
Here’s what you’ll need to scrounge up for 2 servings:
2 cups 3-in-1 Living Lettuce (torn)
1 banana (firm, sliced)
12 tsp lemon juice
3 tbsps mayonnaise (Lot of people like Best Foods mayo)
Today’s recipe is very simple and easy to make. When you want something that just takes a few minutes to make, look no further than this delicious little salad. It avoids being too simple with cucumbers, tomatoes, and a little bit of Parmesan cheese on top, but it’s still a snap to throw together. The garlic basil vinaigrette holds everything together very nicely and it all sits on top of our 3-in-1 Living Lettuce. Just just pull off a bit of the 3-in-1 Living Lettuce and boom! Fresh mixed greens right there!

6 cups torn 3-in-1 Living Lettuce
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar plus 1-1/2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
2 medium tomatoes, cut into thin wedges
1 medium cucumber, sliced
2 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese (Sartori’s Parmesan was named the best in the country)
