Dressing Up Your Salad Greens

At Live Gourmet we get asked a LOT about great salad dressing sites.  Since our specialty is growing hydroponic greens but we built our business on customer service, we decided to virtually “grow” some of our favorite recipe resources for healthy salads and salad dressings that you and your family will enjoy!

Bragg Live Foods
We’re not one to brag – but this site provides many organic salad dressing options including their new dressing & marinade called Braggberry!  It’s made from a blend of mixed berries and fat-free ingredients.  Pair with our Living Upland Cress for an antioxidant packed meal.

Brianna’s Fine Salad Dressings
Find your salad recipe nirvana with Brianna’s.  The recipe page is organized by the flavor of each dressing.  Take a look at the “Super Salad” recipe section for a variety of ways to fix your greens.

Kraft Foods – Recipes and Tips
Recipes for budget conscious and health conscious parents.  There’s even a fun recipe for Turkey Lettuce Wraps that uses Butter Lettuce and takes only 15 minutes to prepare!

Newman’s Own
The site feature’s Paul Newman’s “Eat Right, Eat Light” recipe section for salad recipes.  There is a great recipe that pairs Arugula and Newman’s Own® Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing called “Baby Arugula, Pear and Prosciutto Salad” – Yum!

  1. Love how Bragg’s, Petrini’s, and Live Gourmet are all native to the Santa Barbara area. Buying local, yeah! Also love how Petrini’s uses 100% olive oil. It’s SO hard to find any dressings in the grocery stores that aren’t made with soybean/canola/sunflower.
