Brie Butter Lettuce Salad

Finding a salad that’s red, white, and blue isn’t easy, since most salads are full of green things. The salad in our picture, for example, is green, white, and blue. That’s where our special Living Red Butter Lettuce comes into play. The following recipe wasn’t originally intended for the star spangled treatment but, with just one little tweak, it makes for a perfect addition to any 4th of July themed meal. In addition to being festive and tasty, this salad is very easy to put together as well, so get to making!

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 6 ounces Living Red Butter Lettuce
  • 3 ounces Brie cheese
  • 6 pecans halves
  • 16 blueberries
  • Balsamic Vinaigrette (Newman’s Own makes a great one)
  • kosher salt
  • fresh cracked pepper
